Sell positions should be closed (Market Close/Stop Loss/Take Profit) by the "Ask Price."

However, the K-bar on MT4/5 and VT App are drawn by the "Bid Price", the highest and lowest market price is the Bid price (not the Ask price), and the default price line on the chart is the Bid Price line.

 

The Ask Price is obtained from the Bid Price plus the instant spreads meaning that the Ask Price is necessarily higher than the Bid Price simultaneously.
